Hunter Bankston: The future of Bankston Boys Racing
Bankston Boyz Racing is proud to announce that we are currently developing our own brand of "driver for tomorrow" by allowing Hunter Bankston to participate in Roy Hill's Junior Dragster school. The junior dragster series, sponsored by Roy Hill's driving experience, attends and runs at every ADRL national event. The children that attend this school receive personal attention from Roy Hill in every aspect of what it means to drive a performance machine. From the time the kids eat their morning breakfast until the close of the gates they eat, sleep, and learn drag racing from Roy's vast experiences. Roy's time and patience with the kids is exceptional and greatly appreciated!

Hunter Bankston, 11, son of Michael and Leslie Bankston began his driving career in late 07 and started with being taught what it means to be a crew chief on a junior dragster. Rumors around the Jr. Dragster pits is that some skullduggery is abound in that Hunter Bankston is "aggressively" seeking the crew chief talents of Stan Allen, Jr. Allen, 6, who was crew chief for ADRL Junior Dragster champ Kenny Knowling, Jr. in 2008, stated that he is considering the proposal but no official decision has been made as of now. Bankston is quoted to have said that he could provide Allen with unlimited ice cream sandwiches and bubble gum. Hunter feels that this is the "dealmaker" as he put it. Tasks included servicing the car, and properly staging the car under the watchful eye of Roy.

Please take a minute to look back at Hunter's first attack on the dragstrip at the famed facility owned by the Bader family in Norwalk, OH affectionately know as Summit Motorsports Park. The footage came out of the Bankston family archives from August 2008. These videos are the first I know of with this future ADRL star poised to strike in another 10 years or so...More to follow
